The Jacksonville Detailing Story: From Croatian Roots to Master Craftsmanship

Most people see a dirty car and see a chore. When I see a dirty car, I see POTENTIAL. I see an opportunity for instant transformation. But more importantly, I see a way to serve the people of the 32258 and the city I now call home.

My name is Paul, and Jacksonville Detailing wasn't just "started"—it was forged through years of hard work, deep family roots, and a dream that crossed an ocean.

From the Adriatic Sea to the Florida Sun

I wasn't born in the U.S. I was born in Croatia, where the blue of the Adriatic Sea meets a culture of deep spirituality and relentless work ethic. My family background is a mix of architects and military personnel; we build things to last, and we protect what matters.

I’m 6'1", blue-eyed, and usually found at LA Fitness, playing soccer, or singing when I’m not under a car hood. But my real obsession? CLEANING. There is an incredible, instant gratification in taking something messy and making it perfect. That passion started early, cleaning office buildings and disinfecting spaces with my mom. Watching her hard work and managerial skills inspired me to build something of my own. I knew success wouldn't just "fall out of the sky"—my inner voice told me: BUILD IT NOW, REFINE IT LATER, THEY WILL COME.

Mastering the Craft: The "Best of Both Worlds"

I didn't just buy a bucket and a sponge and call myself a detailer. I went to the "University of Hard Knocks" in the automotive world. I spent 4 years working for Toyota and Nissan, mastering the craft under the best in the business.

At Toyota: My manager Danny put me through a rigorous interior cleaning bootcamp. He taught me the art of the headliner, the science of carpet buffing, and how to make a stain disappear like it was never there.
At Nissan: My manager Tommy showed me the "Art of the Exterior." I learned how to wash, protect, and decontaminate paint until it looked like a mirror.

I took the best of both worlds to create a service that is 100% effective for the people of Jacksonville.

Meeting the Perfectionist: Nikolas Morgan

I’m not in this alone. My co-worker and co-owner, Nikolas Morgan, is our Paint Enhancement Specialist. He came from the dealership world too, and let me tell you—he is METICULOUS. Nikolas doesn’t just "wash" a car; if it isn't PERFECT, he isn't happy. His diligence is the backbone of our quality control.

Why We Do It

I started by cleaning neighbors' cars for free because I was so EXCITED to see if I could make this dream a reality. Today, that excitement is still there every time I pull into a driveway. This business is my way of inspiring others and showing that with a "Build it now" motto and a massive work ethic, anything is possible.
